Processing Rules Getting Stuck

Dec 2, 2009 at 12:14 AM

I have processing rules set as follows:

Include everything, except where:

Station Call Sign contains WGBH OR
Station Call Sign contains WGBX OR
Station Call Sign contains WSBE

I set things this way, as there are a lot of, for instance, WGBXDT channels (WGBXDT1, WGBXDT2, WGBX, etc.)

This is a clipping of my log that shows what I get when something hits one of my rules.  I have WTVWatcher run from 1am to 7am nightly.

12/1/2009 4:01:11 AM: IGNORE => Super Why!_WGBXDT_2009_11_30_07_58_00.wtv
12/1/2009 4:01:21 AM: IGNORE => Super Why!_WGBXDT_2009_11_30_07_58_00.wtv
12/1/2009 4:01:31 AM: IGNORE => Super Why!_WGBXDT_2009_11_30_07_58_00.wtv
12/1/2009 4:01:41 AM: IGNORE => Super Why!_WGBXDT_2009_11_30_07_58_00.wtv
12/1/2009 4:01:52 AM: IGNORE => Super Why!_WGBXDT_2009_11_30_07_58_00.wtv

This just keeps repeating, and it never goes on to any of the other files that I have ready to convert from other channels.

Thanks,

John

Hey me too - this is the same with my very simple rule. It just gets stuck and endlessly repeats the IGNORE rule but never processes anything recorded after that show that is being ignored.

Anyone got an answer for this?

I have the same issue. I did the opposite of the OP and set it to ONLY process if it contains xyz. I got a repeat of the "IGNORE" entry repeatedly for the same file and nothing else ever processes. If I turn off all the rules, it seems to process just fine (knock on wood). Where can I find the logs? Other than in the application window, I mean.

I have this exact same problem, no matter what I try to do.  Turning it off does not work for me, because I have hbo recorded wtv files that bomb out if I don't have processing rules.  I guess I'll have to do a task scheduled batch script to manually convert my wtv files :(
